Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Receive all incoming material including electronic components, metal fabrication,
printed circuit boards and indirect material verifying physical material against
quantity on packing slip / purchase order.
• Provide material requiring incoming inspection to the Quality Control Department.
• Ensure the Quality Control Department follows appropriate incoming inspection
procedures.
• Record all receipts as required.
• Partner with Material Control Department to return non-conforming material.
• Partner with Accounting / Procurement to resolve cost or receiving discrepancies.
• Generate all paperwork required specifically for each shipment.
• Ship all products in a timely fashion according to the appropriate procedures.
• Maintain close security of the company’s assets, including equipment and
inventory.
• Interact with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Program Managers and Purchasing
and communicate all receiving / shipping issues affecting production / on-time
delivery.
• Ensure that any relevant reports are correct and provided on a timely basis.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Check e-mail and voicemail daily and respond, as appropriate.
• Ensure company compliance in accordance with AS9100.
• This level can have a minimum 0-3 years of experience in Shipping & Receiving or
related experience.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school preferred; or up to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Computer Skills:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet software, E-mail and Epicor.
