Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Facilities:
• Performs administrative duties associated with Facilities Management.
• Maintains and organizes Facilities related documentation.
• Assists with ordering supplies.
• Assists with researching and scheduling bids from third party contractors.
• Assists with emergency coordination and response; business continuity plans and
tasks.
• Serves as a backup for front lobby Receptionist duties.
• Performs all other duties as delegated or required by the Facilities & Security
Manager.
• Ensures company compliance with AS9100.

Security:
• Serves as the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO), Assistant Insider Threat
Program Security Official (AITPSO), and the Assistant Export Compliance Officer
(ECO).
• Serves as the backup for the FSO regarding government database access as
required by the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
• Assists with implementation of the National Industry Security Program (NISP) and
other related security directives in support of Department of Defense (DoD) and
Intelligence Community.
• Responsible for assisting with administration of corporate and government security
requirements with regard to: physical security, facility security, personnel security,
operations security, and insider threat security.
• Ensures the protection and integrity of all Aethercomm business assets.
• Complies with company Emergency Actions Plans to ensure business continuity in
the event of a disaster.
• Assists with new employee security orientations, as needed.
• Assists with the administration of personnel security clearances (PCL), to include
initial investigations, periodic reinvestigations (PR), and debriefings in accordance
with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and
contractual requirements.
• Notifies all cleared personnel of requirements, or changes thereto, which affect the
handling, safeguarding, and disposal of classified information, to include
requirements for adverse information and suspicious contact (SCR) reporting.
• Reports to the FSO any information concerning espionage, sabotage, or other
subversive activities affecting Aethercomm, its employees, or employees' families.
• Conducts security and export compliance education and staff training programs as
required by company and government policy.
• Attends classified briefings from key intelligence agencies concerning new threats
and vulnerabilities.
• Assists with the Visitor Authorization Request process.
• Reviews all international shipments in compliance with ITAR requirements.
• Periodically reviews technical data for proper adherence to export control marking
practices and procedures.
• Assures and maintains compliance with US Government export regulations,
specifically US Department of State, Department for Commerce, Department of
Treasury, and Department of Homeland Security.
• Provides recommendations concerning the requirements & obligations of
exports/imports under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and
Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Monitors regulatory resources for changes in export policy and requirements.
• Conducts denied party screenings for export compliance requirements.
• Audits programs for export compliance.
• Ensure company compliance with AS9100.

Competencies:
This position requires an Associate’s Degree or five years of experience in administrative and customer support roles. Excellent spelling and grammar skills, with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner, are essential.

Education/Experience:
Associate's Degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or university; or five or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Military or Defense Industry background preferred but not required. In-depth knowledge of the NISPOM, NISPOM Supplements, and periodic ISL releases preferred but not required. Working knowledge of JPAS, ISFD, e-QIP, OBMS, SWFT, and other industrial security related systems preferred but not required. Completion of the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) FSO & Information Systems Security courses preferred but not required. Training on all of these functions will be provided.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, lengthy correspondence, and memos. Ability to write complex correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small to large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to perform basic statistical analysis for decision making purposes.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Excellent critical thinking skills a must.

Computer Skills:
MS Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet software, E-mail, and PowerPoint.

Clearance Requirement:
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
