Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare and maintain a variety of records and databases.
• Research, review, check and compile a variety of information; collect and verify
data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established procedures; and
prepare reports as required; file records as required.
• Compose and edit a wide variety of materials such as correspondence, reports,
forms, applications, memoranda and other documents using MS Office
applications (Power Point, Word, Excel, Visio, etc), and perform quality assurance
on final products.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings involving internal attendees, suppliers, and/or
customers.
• Attend and participate in a variety of administrative meetings, serving as a
representative of the Chief Operating Officer when directed to do so.
• Take minutes for Operations Department meetings as directed.
• Support all direct reports of the COO when needed.
• Coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Undergraduate degree is preferable with 5 or more years of experience as an administrative assistant working in a team environment.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering specifications, technical correspondence, design procedures, and other related materials. Superior attention to detail. Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The recognition and basic understanding of statistics is beneficial as is the recognition and understanding of common units of measurement found in the field of engineering.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense and logic to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Able to balance multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.

Computer Skills:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio and Power Point), Internet software and Database software.
