Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Create and maintain Bills of Material based on input from Engineering
• Create and assist with release of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
• Support Configuration Management Analyst as required
• Understand departmental policies and procedures for assigning part numbers, redlining bills of material, and revising drawings while utilizing Company’s ERP system.
• Research, review, check assigned duties for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established procedures; and prepare reports as required; file records as required.
• Ensure compliance in accordance with AS9100.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Undergraduate degree is preferable with 5 or more years of experience as an administrative assistant working in a team environment.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering specifications, technical correspondence, design procedures, and other related materials. Superior attention to detail. Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The recognition and basic understanding of statistics is beneficial as is the recognition and understanding of common units of measurement found in the field of engineering.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense and logic to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Able to balance multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.

Computer Skills:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio and Power Point), Internet software and Database software.
