Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Support the Production and Engineering Departments with maintenance and management of equipment and tooling.
• Maintain inventory control of tools and equipment.
• Maintain logs of issues and returns of tools and equipment.
• Perform incoming and outgoing inspection for defects and wear of tools and equipment. Report damage to supervisors.
• May deliver tools and equipment to workers.
• May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp or electric marking tool.
• Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, log, and store incoming tools and equipment.
• Handle all transfer of tooling and equipment between outside facilities and vendors.
• Verify obsolete tooling and dispose of per company standard.
• Ensure that the quality control functions are properly performed such as ESD precautions, equipment calibration, personnel and hardware safety, etc.
• Ensure personnel safety procedures are followed at all times and/or highlight/raise concern to the appropriate personnel if safety hazards are found. Assist in the correction action of any such hazards found.
• Ensure all program paperwork is completed correctly, signed and dated in accordance with the applicable program documentation.
• Accept other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Check email regularly and respond as appropriate.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school preferred; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Computer Skills:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet software, Email, Database software.
