Aethercomm P/N SSPA 0.8-3.2-10 was designed to be used as a laboratory amplifier for all medium power testing needs from 800 MHz to 3.2 GHz. This SSPA can also be used in any application where medium power and high gain are required in a rugged environment. This class A unit has an extremely broadband gain and power response. The useable gain/power frequency percentage bandwidth is 75%. SSPA 0.8-3.2-10 delivers a typical output power of 9.0 watts. The small signal gain from 800 MHz to 3.2 GHz is typically greater than 28 dB. The OIP3 at 2.45 GHz with a two tone spacing of 1 MHz is 46 dBm at a single tone output power of 35 dBm. Input and Output VSWR is always < 2.0:1 from 0.8 to 3.2 GHz.
This model operates from a +12 Vdc supply with a quiescent current of 6.7 amps typical. Standard housing size is 4" X 8.25" X 2" including heat sink. Mounting is accomplished by 6 through holes in the bottom cover. Input/output short circuit and open circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, internal over current protection and SMA female input/output connectors are all standard. Unit can be configured with external shutdown control if desired.
